How do I Apply for Funding?
The Obici Healthcare Foundation offers two opportunities for community health funding annually. The Request for Proposal announcements will be made in April and October. The Foundation will accept competitive applications for health-related grant awards within our Mission, Strategic Priority areas and service area for a funding period of one year.
 1. Review our Mission, and Strategic Priority Areas
To determine if your organization's mission is consistent with the Foundation's purpose, first review our Mission, Strategic Priority Areas and Proposal Guidelines which includes Types of Funding, Eligibility Requirements and the Review Process.
The Foundation application process occurs in two steps. First, applicants submit a Concept Paper and Preliminary Budget. Applicants may submit more than one Concept Paper but only one project per request. We want to get to know you before you spend time completing a full proposal. The brief five question summary provides Foundation staff with preliminary information to assess whether or not the request is given further consideration.

 3. Wait for our response
Wait for a response before submitting a proposal. Within six weeks after receiving your organization summary, we will contact you by email, either encouraging you to apply or informing you that your organization does not meet our guidelines.
 4. Submit a proposal
Applicants, whose Concepts best fit the Foundation's Mission and Strategic Priorities within our service area, are offered the opportunities to submit a full proposal. After following steps 1-3 and receiving notification from us inviting you to apply, complete our on-line application. We will send you the link. After you receive the link, you can log back in to edit using My Account

 5. Application review and approval
Applications are reviewed by our Staff and Board of Directors. We typically visit applicant organizations during the review process in order to learn about the organization first hand. We will contact you regarding a decision of approval soon after the award date specified for the grant cycle.
